Sustainability

Svetruck AB is Sweden’s largest privately-owned forklift manufacturer, with approximately 200 employees at our production facility in Ljungby. We have sales and service units in Germany, Belgium, and the USA. Our production is focused on manufacturing forklifts for a variety of markets. Around 95% of sales occur within Europe, while 5% are exported to other parts of the world.

Environment

Our policy includes important commitments to protect natural resources, thereby ensuring the long-term economic sustainability of our operations.

We strive to develop and improve processes and manufacturing methods with the utmost environmental consideration to limit emissions of pollutants into water and air.

  • We aim to be frugal with chemicals and avoid spillage.
  • We will minimize our use of raw materials, energy, and water.
  • We aim to meet and strive to exceed the requirements of laws and regulations.
  • We involve and continuously train all employees in our environmental efforts.

Personnel

Svetruck AB offers many rewarding and stimulating jobs across various professional fields, employing around 200 people in Sweden.

Svetruck has a flat organizational structure with short decision-making paths, giving employees significant influence over their work situation and development. The most important factors for us are the motivation and interest of our staff. We are a strong company with solid values, focusing on long-term growth and quality.

Social Conditions and Human Rights

Svetruck respects human rights and international labor standards as outlined in the UN Declaration on Human Rights and the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) core conventions.

We do not tolerate child labor in any form, nor forced or involuntary labor. Discrimination based on race, religion, political beliefs, gender, age, nationality, sexual orientation, or disability is not permitted.

Our employees have the full right to exercise their legal rights to form, join, or refrain from joining trade unions.

Anti-Corruption

Svetruck employees are not permitted to accept or give personal gifts or other compensation from/to external parties with whom there is a business relationship. They may not participate in entertainment beyond normal business activities.

We assess the risk of our employees being exposed to corruption or corruption-like situations as low.
